What Do I Have To Bring?

Please bring bedding, pillows, towels, and drinking water- the resort water is not potable.

What is in Every Cabin/Cottage?

Dinnerware, pots & pans, cutlery, coffee perc,dish towels and detergent.

Courtesy & Respect of Others

Respect the rights & privacy of others, do not walk or cut through their sites. Treat tables, signs & all other facilities as if they were your own. Place trash in receptacles and leave your accommodation the way you would like to find it.

Overall Wilderness Etiquette

Please leave the property as you found it or extra charges will apply. This means garbage in, garbage out.

Injury, Accidents, or loss of items

Dee Lake Resort Ltd. will not be responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of articles of any kind. Use all facilities at your own risk.

Penalties

May include eviction with no refund at the discretion of Management.

Violations

Should they occur, contact Management for their attendance to the issue.

Is Smoking allowed?

All accommodations are “non-smoking”.

Do you have shower facilities?

Yes, the resort offers a shower house with 2 private showers available to all guests. Water conservation should be practiced at all times. An adult should accompany children. No washing dishes or clothing in the showers. No dogs allowed in the shower house.

Campfires & Fire Pits

It is your responsibility to extinguish your campfire before retiring for the night. Fire pits must remain in the allocated spot. Each campsite has a fire pit. Firewood can be purchased from the store. Wood supplied to the Cabins or Cottages is to be used only in the wood-burning stoves.

Children & Pets

Children are welcome at all times. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and not to be left unattended in your rental unit at any time. Please pick up after your pet. Please control their barking and do not leave them unattended for long periods of time.

Dock Safety

There is no lifeguard on duty. The docks are to be used for boat launching only & children must be accompanied by an adult & be wearing a life jacket while on the docks. Fishing and swimming from the main boat dock is forbidden.

How to use boats?

Boats are to be used for fishing and sightseeing. Their use for swimming, speeding, or as water toys is not permitted.

Can I bring my ATVs & Motorbikes?

Your motorized toys are welcome at the resort but must be used at lowest speed (idle) for entering and leaving the property only. 5km/hr speed limit within the resort. Not for use within the camp except by special permission.

Do You Have Cell Service?

Unfortunately, there is no service available but there is WIFI available at the store for a nominal fee and you can turn on "wifi calling" on cell phones if needed.

Resort Security

Dee Lake Resort opens at 8:00 AM & closes at 9:00 PM. Please have guests arriving after hours park outside the gates.

Quiet Policy

Please respect your neighbors. No loud noise (radios and stereos included) between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM. The use of any automotive sound equipment is strictly forbidden.

What about my vehicle? Speed?

All vehicles must register at Office. Please observe the 5 km/hr. limit and keep the operation of your vehicle to a minimum.

When is Check in/out?

Check out time is 11:00 AM. Check-in time is 3:00 PM

What's the water supply like at Dee Lake?

Water at all locations is not potable. Please ensure you bring sufficient bottled water for your requirements. Bottled water is available at the store.

Cancellation Policies

The dates for bookings can be changed up to 30 days before (via email request- info@deelakeresort.ca) with no penalty. The initial payment on bookings is non-refundable. Any booking cancellations will forfeit the initial payment
